The 2008 Xterra Nissan is a 4-door sport-utility vehicle and comes in four different trims ranging from the X to SE. The latest line-up is designed as carryover from 2007 with very little changes. This SUV has the perfect mating of unmatched style and technology. The second generation of Xterra Nissan car is designed keeping in mind the requirements for outdoor enthusiast traveling, It comes with added interior room, freshened styling, and more power that is built on the Frontier pickup's platform and comes with the same basic 4.0-liter V-6 engine mated to either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission.

Noticeable changes in the interior 2008 Nissan Xterra includes an adjustable channel system in the cargo hold for securing bike racks and sports gear along with a total of ten utility hooks. A 60/40-split folding rear seat, folding front passenger seat, double-deck glove box, and large center console impart overall utility attributes. The interior segment of the current Xterra Nissan car is highlighted with a new color – Sandstone. Standard safety equipments in all the latest Xterra models include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist, and stability control. Power Package with power windows, power locks, power mirrors, remote key less entry and cruise control are made standard in the all-new exterior design of the Xterra. The bright machined finish that can be seen on the 16-inch Off-Road grade wheel makes the Xterra more attractive. Standard exterior features include auto-dimming rear-view mirror with outside temperature gauge and compass. One new exterior color- Red Alert is also there to choose from. This year Xterra models have power windows/locks/mirrors along with remote keyless entry and cruise control and a standard auto-dimming rearview mirror.
