For 2009, Nissan Xterra is available in the existing trims- X, S, Off-Road and SE. The changes in the second generation Xterra enhance the differentiation between the models. All 2009 Xterra models feature an advanced 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine, rated at 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. The 4-door, 5-passenger SUV is available with a choice of 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmissions and in a choice of part-time four-wheel drive or two-wheel drive. Xterra X Trim
